Sword Coast Legends couldn't be anymore of a throwback to classic role-playing if it tried. A fantastical RPG set within the Forgotten Realms universe, Sword Coast Legends uses the Dungeons & Dragons ruleset to deliver a fusion of classic tabletop gaming and cRPGs. Created by a team of ex-Dragon Age: Origins devs, Sword Coast Legends features a sprawling single-player campaign with five playable races and six classes.
The journey doesn't end there though, with a unique non-adversarial 4 with 1 experience that pitches a group of adventurers against a player-controlled Dungeon Master. The DM dictates everything that happens, even making up entire stories, with the best Dungeon Masters becoming a hotly sought after property. Before you dust off your twenty-sided dice though, you'd best make sure your PC is more Gandalf than Rincewind, by checking out the official Sword Coast Legends system requirements.

GPU RAM: 2GB Video Memory

I have to say, these requirements are far higher than I thought from a top-down RPG. Still, the minimum requirements for Sword Coast Legends aren't too bad at all at least. Any gaming PC from the last five years or so should be a-ok, with nothing here setting off alarm bells. Digital Extremes has even incorporated Windows XP support for really ancient PCs.
The jumped to Sword Coast Legends' recommended requirements however are quite a leap. We'd be enormously surprised if players need 8GB of RAM to max out Sword Coast Legends, or some pretty decent processors in the shape of the Core i5-2400S and the AMD FX 8100. The graphics cards demanded aren't really comparable, arriving generations apart. We'd err on the side of the GeForce GTX 750 when it comes to Sword Coast Legends hardware demands, which is a pretty low-end card for a modern gaming PC.
